WoodsideTaylorsJames Peden Woodside, 84, died April 9, 2013 at Laurel Baye Healthcare.A native of Greenville County, son of the late James David and Sara Peden Woodside, he was a U.S. Navy WWII Veteran, a retired employee of Waldensian Bakeries and Reliance Electric, and a member of Lee Road United Methodist Church.Surviving are his wife, Mae Jones Woodside of the home; a son, James Craig Woodside of Taylors; a brother, Robert D. Woodside of Ft. Inn; three sisters, Martha Knox of Greensboro, North Carolina, Doris DeMarco of Ft. Inn, and Sara Shealy of Mauldin; and one granddaughter, Cassidy Woodside. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Douglas W. Gilliland and Mr. Phil David with military rites.Visitation will be held after the service at the cemetery.The family is at the home.Memorials may be made to Lee Road United Methodist Church, 1377 E.
