WILLIAMS, JAMES "JIMMY", 57 Gainesville - Mr. James Ferrel "Jimmy" Williams, age 57, a resident of 110 N.W. 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL, died Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, conducted by Eddie Bowen. Mr. Williams was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on October 24, 1949. He was the son of Annie Chesson Williams and the late Benjamin Coy Williams, Sr. Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Master Welder. Mr. Williams attended the Ft. Lauderdale Church of God. Survivors include his mother, Annie Chesson Williams of Washington; his sister, Zella W. Baxter of Pompano Beach, FL; three nieces, Leann Clark and her husband, Doug, Nita Lambdin, Sue Starnes; two nephews, Henry L. Baxter, Benjamin Coy Williams III and special friend, Alison Raborn. The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm Friday, June 8, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home, Washington and other times at the home of his mother, Annie Williams, 50 Old Race Track Road, Washington. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to the Old Ford Church of Christ, 6040 U.S. Highway 17 North, Washington, N.C. 27889.
