TODD, James Bernard (Bernie) On January 22, 2005 Mr. Bernie Todd of Sherwood Park, formerly of Petawawa, Ontario, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 55. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Peggy; sons Ryan, Justin, Daniel; and daughter Chelsey. He will also be remembered by his mother Doris of Napanee; three brothers, Larry of Toronto, Duane (Maureen) of Kingston, Michael (Delia) of Wainwright; three sisters, Linda of Napanee, Elaine (John) of Kingston, Lorraine (Ron) of Napanee. He was predeceased by his father Harold. Bernie enjoyed a 31-year career with the Canadian Forest Service in Ottawa, Petawawa and Edmonton; and was recently recognized with an award for his outstanding contribution to forest fire research in Canada. He was also well know for his love of sports and especially enjoyed hockey. Bernie was a man of creativity, honor and integrity, and he will be truly missed. Family and friends are invited to a Prayer Vigil on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Place Funeral Home, 51 Broadway Boulevard, Sherwood Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park, with Father Wilf Murchland officiating. Cremation to follow and final resting place will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
