Obituary of James-Thomas Lee


James Thomas Lee, 75, of Dahlonega went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2013. A devoted and loving husband and father, Mr. Lee will be missed by many. Mr. Lee was born on July 30, 1937, to the late James Bert Lee and Ader McKenzie Lee. He was the owner of a logging and timber business.Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Mason & Ward Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Kanaday officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Baptist Church cemetery, Homer. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Ruth Voyles Lee; daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Harold Shadburn of Jefferson, Gail and Mark Loggins of Dahlonega, Janie and Ricky Cleghorn and Carol and Danny Brown, all of Gainesville; daughter, Connie Lee of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Angelena Lee of Dahlonega; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Eva Voyles of Jefferson; brothers, Roy Junior Lee of Pendergrass and Herbert Lee of Forster, Ky.; sister, Georgia McClure of Gainesville; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.Those wishing to send online condolences may do so at www.masonward.com.
