He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Terry and James William Johnson, and grandparents, Jewell and Clifford Terry, and Ollie and Cecil Johnson.He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Terry Johnson; one son, Jamie Johnson and a daughter, Angela Emerson. He has four grandchildren, Joshua and Emily Johnson, Allyson Pyron and Jace Emerson. He is survived by five brothers, Steve (Angela) Johnson, Tony (Karen) Johnson, Roy (Nancy) Johnson, Cecil Johnson, John Johnson and five sisters, Sheila (Roger) Callis, Wanda (Mike) Gable, Fredia (Stephen) Climer, Jenny (Danny) King, and Becky (David) Butler. In 2009, he was honored with a Vail Award and participated in the Winter Olympics in Nova Scotia, CN by carrying the Olympic Torch.The funeral will be held at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m., with Rev.
