TUSCALOOSA James T. Lee, age 84, of Tuscaloosa died March 24, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Holley officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Lee; son, Thelton Lee; and daughter, Shelby Farmer.Survivors include his daughters, Bobbie Turner of Tuscaloosa and Dovie Beasley of North Carolina; a brother, Curtis Lee of Tuscaloosa; grandsons, Tom Lee, Tony Taylor (Deanna), Larry Turner, and Duane Beasley; granddaughters, Wanda Penny (Greg), Rita Schlichter, and Angie Raines; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.He was a member of UMWA.Pallbearers will be Tony Taylor, Greg Penny, Adam Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Derek Day, and Chad Frye.Condolences may be offered at www.heritagechapeltuscaloosa.com.
