JAMES STARR ROCKLEDGE James W. Starr, 79, of Rock ledge passed away at his home on Sunday, March 2, 2008. He was born in Stockton, Cal ifornia and came to Brevard county in 1962 from California. James was a field service representative for AeroJet General. He was a member of the American Legion Post 332 in Merritt Island and was also a life member of the Merritt Island Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Starr of Rockledge; sons, Peter J. (Deborah) Starr and James Starr Jr. both of Rockledge; daughters, Kathryn (David) Summers of Jackson ville, FL. and Karen Starr of Rockledge; grandchildren, Jeffrey Starr of Rockledge, Barbara Ayers of Atlanta, Stephanie Steele of Rockledge, Richard Carter of Jacksonville and Sarah Starr of Rockledge. His great-grandchildren are, Karlyn Prisco, Lauryn Steele, Blake Carter, Jordan Ayers and Lindsey Jackson. There are no calling hours or services scheduled.
