Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, in Wards Funeral Home Chapel for James Stanley Bryant, 60, of Gainesville. The Rev. Bethel Midgett officiating with burial in Dawsonville City Cemetery.Mr. Bryant passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, following a short illness.The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.Mr. Bryant was born in Jackson County and had lived all of his life in Hall County. He was the son of the late Bob and Edna Louise Mangum Bryant. He was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Wanda Shelnut of Gainesville; sisters, Laura Sue Lee of Gainesville and Jane Bryant of Gainesville; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
