PARKER James Robert Parker, 49, died Thursday, January 7, at his home in Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services were at 2:00P.M., Sunday, January 10, in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home, McRae, with burial in the Rockwell Church Cemetery. A native of Jacksonville, Florida where he spent most of his life, Mr. Parker was the son of Sally Yawn Garrison and the late Levie Robert Parker. After graduating from Wolfson High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years, lived in Haddock, GA for approximately ten year, then returned to Jacksonville, FL, where he attended ITT Technical Institute and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Security. Mr. Parker was a member of Hendricks Ave. Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Sally Garrison of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Penny (Richard) Coleman of Moultrie; nephew, Davis Coleman of Moultrie; aunt, Nancy Starr of Haddock; uncle, Tommy Yawn of Rhine and numerous other relatives.
