Martin - James Ray ìJimmyî Carter, 74, of N. Clarks Creek Rd, Martin, GA died Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Toccoa Nursing Center. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Survivors include a son, Faron Carter, Snellville; daughter, Delinda Carter, Villa Rica; sisters, Wynelle Cobb, Conyers and Kathryn Pickern, Lavonia; brothers, Davis and Talmadge Carter, both of Lavonia; two granddaughters. Hamby Funeral Home, Lavonia, is in charge of arrangements.
