WILSON, JAMES R. "BILL", 79 Ocala - James R. "Bill" Wilson, 79, (USA retired) passed away November 20, 2006 at West Marion community Hospital. He was born in Conway, MO and moved to Ocala in 2005 from Tamarac, FL. He retired as a Command Sergeant Major from the U. S. Army with 31 years of service. CSM Wilson received two Bronze Stars while serving in Korea and Vietnam. After retirement, he worked on the Central Arizona Project. He attended Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Margaret H. Wilson of Ocala, a son James R. Wilson Jr. of Show Low, AZ; daughters, Donna Marie Wilson of Ocala, and Debra Jean Fried of Savannah, GA; three grandchildren April Marie Wilson, Danielle Wilson, and Robert James Fried; brothers Paul Wilson, Lon Wilson, and Bill Wilson all of California; and sisters Ann Heaney and Artie Hamilton of Missouri. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES BRUCE CHAPEL WEST, 6241 SW St. Rd. 200, Ocala, FL A prayer service will be held at Noon. Interment with full honors will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. At 11 a.m. on January 8, 2007.
