MILLER, James R., 78, of Zephyrhills, passed away January 27, 2009, in Jacksonville, Fla. He was born September 13, 1930, in Mishawaka, Ind. to Ray and Margaret (Darnell) Miller and came to Zephyrhills in 1993 from Jacksonville, Fla. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a distribution/ scheduling manager for the Uniroyal Tire company. He is survived by his wife, Norma N. Miller of Zephyrhills; a son, Larry D. Miller of Oakland, Calif.; two daughters, Jeanine R. Dineen of Jacksonville, Fla. and Karen L. Miller of Lacombe, La.; six grandchildren and two sisters, Joyce Kirkendall of Niles, Mich., and Sandra Shepardson of Zephyrhills. Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009, at the Chancey Road Christian Church, 34921 Chancey Road, Zephyrhills, with Pastor Tim Mitchell and Pastor Tom Schmidt officiating. A reception will follow at the church after the service. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Research Department of Development, Mayo Clinic, 4500 San Pablo Road, Jacksonville, FL 32225
