CARTER James R. Carter, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 8, 2013. He is survived by his children, Demarcus Carter and Jasmine Benefield; devoted mother, Vanessa Jones-Guyton (Clarence); father, James R. Carter Jr.; stepfather, George Jones; brothers, George and Marquis Jones; grandparents, 3 aunts, 1 uncle, 2 nieces and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Carter will rest in the mortuary for the visitation of family and friends on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 4-7PM. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00AM in the Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 2803 Edgewood Avenue. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
