James-Quincy Lee, son of Silas-Lee and Mary, father of Frances, James W, Kimberly, Silas D, Wayne, Johnson and Janis, died at 87 years old. Please consult the obituary here:
James Quincy Lee, 87, of Bonifay died Feb. 2 at Bay Medical Center in Panama City. He was the son of the late Silas Lee and the late Mary (Brock) Lee. He was a member of the American Legion and the Washington-Holmes Cattlemen's Association. He had more than 20 years in law enforcement in Holmes and Washington counties. He served in the Navy during World War II. Survivor include one daughter, Janis (Lee) Johnson and husband, Wayne, of Bonifay; two sons, Silas D. Lee and wife, Kimberly of Westville, James W. (Bill) Lee and wife, Frances M., of Bonifay; a brother, John D. Lee of Bonifay; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held Feb. 6 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Spicer and the Rev. Jeep Sullivan officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in Bonifay with Sims Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
