James "Jim" Peters 1945-2015 It is with sadness that we must announce the peaceful passing of James "Jim" Franklin Peters, age 69, of Rusagonis, NB. Jim passed away at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Born in Bath, NB, he was the son of the late Harrison and Harriet (Turney) Peters. In his younger days, he was an avid woodsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was a Christian who loved his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife Mary Ann (Green) Peters, Sackville, NB children Kimberley (Craig) Wilmot, Sackville, NB, James (Alissa), Kingston, NB and Karen (Mark) Cooney, Norton, NB; 6 grandchildren, Amanda (Brooks) Records, Rachael Cooney, Seth Cooney, Heather Wilmot, James Wilmot, and Maxwell Peters; sister Janet MacKay, Tatamagouche, NS. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St. Sackville, NB (506 364-1300). In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Florenceville, NB. Those wishing to make a donation in Jim's memory may do so to the Miramichi Salmon Association, or the charity of your choice.
