James P. McKenzie, 55, died March 12, 2008, at his home in Conroe, Texas. He was born in Kansas City, Mo. and had resided in Texas for the past 20 years, coming from Stuart. He served in the U.S. Army and the Florida National Guard. Survivors include his mother, Rita McKenzie of Stuart; daughters, Patricia Miesel, Layla Bellaire and Tanya McKenzie, all of Germany, sisters, Dody Williams of Stuart and Kathleen Rigolizzo, of Tamarac; brother, Robert McKenzie, of Stuart; his companion, Barbara Thomas, of Conroe; and three grandchildren.
