James O. Casey, 90, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Leitchfield, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.He was born Oct. 4, 1922 and was a production worker at General Electric. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and was a member of Clarkson Church of Christ.He was preceded in death by her parents, Nat and Gladys Wilson Casey; four brothers; and four sisters.Survivors include his wife, Vivia Geary Casey of Chattanooga; two sons, Jerry O. Casey of Jeffersonville, Ind., and James T. Casey of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, Kenan Casey, Rebecca Taylor, Micah Nichols, Sarah Beth Rucker, Marah Casey and Alex James Casey; five great-grandchildren, Logan James Casey, Maegan Casey, Cyan Nichols, Liam Casey and Gideon James Rucker.The funeral is at 11 a.m. CDT Wednesday, April 10, at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home in Leitchfield with family members officiating. Burial follows in Layman Cemetery.Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. CDT Tuesday and continues at 9 a.m. CDT Wednesday at the funeral home.
