James Oliver Casey, 87, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Anderson, he was the son of the late Walter Lawrence and Martha Erskine Casey. He was retired from South Eastern Engineering, and was a graduate of Clemson University. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Clemson. Survivors include his wife of the home, Jane Justiss Casey; a son, Mike Casey, Clemson; and a daughter, Pat Buckner, Simpsonville; three grandchildren, Lindsay, Casey and Jenni Buckner, all of Simpsonville. He was predeceased by two sisters, Isabel Bruce and Evelyn Fisher. Services will be 4 p.m. today in the chapel of the Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Old Stone Church Cemetery.
