Mr. James C. Miller, of 125 Shadecrest Dr., died on July 9, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, he was a son of Mrs. Mary Jane Allgood Miller of Greenville and the late Mr. H.B. Miller.Mr. Miller was employed with Norfolk Southern Railroad as an engineer for over 25 years. He was a U.S. military veteran of the Vietnam War.Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Claudette Gary Miller of the home; son, Anthony Young of Greenville; great-niece reared in the home, Shaiauna Blandin of Georgia; stepsister, Odessa Harris of North Carolina; brothers, Anthony Miller of New York and Nathaniel Miller of Greenville; stepbrother, Alfred Abercrombie of Greenville; father-in-law, John A. Oliver of Greenville.Funeral Service: today, 3 p.m. at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home.
