NORTHPORT James Michael Weeks, age 53, of Northport, died Sept. 19, 2010, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tindel and Rev. George Shaddix officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Elmo Weeks; stepfather, James W. Bradshaw; and brother, Ronald Brantley Weeks.Survivors include his wife, Kim Weeks; son, Will Weeks; brothers, Charles Weeks and Pat Weeks; and mother, Grace Bradshaw.Mike was a wonderful husband, father, brother and son. He loved to watch football, especially the Crimson Tide. He will be greatly missed by many, but he is with his Lord in Heaven.Pallbearers will be Allen Skelton, Charles E. Weeks, Kyle Black, Brad Golson, Brant Weeks and Dale Fleming. Honorary pallbearers are DCH Cancer Center, The Monfore Group, Hospice of West Alabama, Publix of Northport, Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and all of our special neighbors and friends who have been so wonderful to us during this time.
