He was born on June 17, 1942 in Louisville to the late Jay T. and Lucille Davis. He was a newspaper delivery agent for the Courier-Journal for 30 years.He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Jean Davis; two children, Amanda Jean Wolz (Dane) and Jeffrey (Bev Henry) Davis; two grandchildren, Maggie and Grace Wolz; two step grandchildren, Kiel Henry and Stefan Young (Ibo); two brothers, Tommy Rudy and Wayne Davis; and a sister, Donna Carroll.A celebration of his life will be conducted on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
