James Matthew Lee James Matthew Lee, 84, of Bronx, N.Y., died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006. The service will be at 10:30 a.m. EST Saturday at the Greater Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 2996 Bannerman Road, Tallahassee, with burial at St. John Cemetery in Midway. Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. EST Friday at the chapel of Strong & Jones Funeral Home (850-224-2139).A native of Midway, he had lived in New York for over 60 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired. Survivors include a son, Phil Arnold-Johner of Bronx; two daughters, Marilyn Lee Harris (and husband Stanton) of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Barbara A. Myer of New York City; a brother, Elder Phillip A. Lee (and wife Emma) of Midway; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Bertha Weston Lee.
