LAMB, JAMES LEONARD, father, grandpa and great-grandpa, died February 26, 2011. James was born October 27, 1920 in Weakley County, TN to Auther and Vera Tuck Lamb. He grew up in Weakley County, attended Dresden High School and later met and married Mary Alice Barber on June 28, 1941. They lived in the country on a farm by Dresden, TN. They had one son and continued to live on the farm until 1960. When their son graduated they moved to Louisville, where they lived the past 50 years. Mr. Lamb was a member of Teamsters Local 89 and was a truck driver for Dealers Transport and Motor Convoy. He was also the proprietor of Lamb's Gulf Service Station and Lamb's Used Cars and a 32nd Degree Mason. James loved gardening, he grew fruit trees and vegetable gardens. He enjoyed sharing what he grew with friends and family. James is survived by one son, James Ronald "Ronnie" Lamb (Vickie); his sister, Lorene Dilday; his grandchildren, Heather (Adam) Hartley and Heidi (Ricky) Quattlebaum; and his great-grandchildren, Ricky Blu Quattlebaum and Texie Belle Quattlebaum. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Lamb, parents, one sister and brother. Funeral services: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. Roy, Utah 84067.
