Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Service is handling arrangements. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Barbara (Van); a son, James L. of Big Pine Key; a daughter, Kathleen A. Ware of North Port; and a sister, Patricia Whiteford, of Erie, Pa.Mr. Trumble is also survived by daughter-in-law, Dawn; son-in-law, Steve; three grandsons: Jamie and his wife, Patricia Trumble, Stevie Ware and Sean Ware; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Trumble. He was predeceased by his son, Steven Walter Trumble.Mr. Trumble was a charter member of Holiday Estates Home Owners Association, serving as the first president; he and his wife were the tenth mobile home in the park. His favorite hobbies included piloting and traveling. He was the owner of Weathershield Manufacturing Vinyl Window, Inc. of Venice and was the recipient of the Venice Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award in Venice in 1981.The Trumble family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care provided by TideWell Hospice during Jim's illness.
