Graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith's Chapel Methodist Church, Smith Institute, Sand Mountain, for James Kermit "Butch" Williams, who died Oct. 30, 2006.He is survived by his wife, Michelle Williams; son, Stephen Williams, Birmingham; brother, Thomas Oliver Williams and wife, Charlotte, Albertville; niece, Angie Moore, Douglas; sister, Patsy Williams; and cousins.After a lengthy absence, Butch came home spiritually and physically. His urn will be placed next to his father, Oscar Kermit Williams; grandparents, Bessie Benefield Hall and Oscar Williams; and great-grandparents, Oliver Williams and Hattie Mae Israel Williams and Elijah Benefield and Lucy Hill Benefield, with love and memories of happy times.
