KELLY, James Judson (Jamie) Suddenly, as a result of a car accident, December 27, 2006 in Avola, British Columbia. He was 37 years old. Jamie is survived by his wife and best friend, Stephanie Chow, parents Floyd and Patricia Kelly of Nine Mile Creek, Prince Edward Island and siblings Laura Lee (Brian Mandziak) of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Kris (Dayna) of Ottawa, Ontario and Colleen (Chris Cullum) of Bedford, Nova Scotia. He will be fondly remembered as "favourite uncle" to his Godson Shane, Patrick and Aidan Kelly; Maggie Mandziak; Jessie and Grace Cullum. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jamie is predeceased by his grandparents Judson and Miriam Kelly of Alma, New Brunswick and James and Mary Dowling of Cumberland, Prince Edward Island. Jamie was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on March 20, 1969. He moved with his family to Ottawa, Ontario in 1977 where he graduated from Commerce High School in 1987. He studied animation at Sheraton College in Toronto and Algonquin College in Ottawa. Jamie met Stephanie in Ottawa in 1998 and they married in 2000. Jamie was employed at the Sheraton Wall Center in Vancouver. Athletic and a free-spirit, Jamie was a disc sports enthusiast whose fire and passion for life touched communities in Ottawa, Vancouver and Calgary. He wore #42 proudly representing Canada at the World Ultimate Championships in Finland in 2004. Bright and hard working, Jamie did everything with a creative flair and big grin on his face. He had a knack for making people feel comfortable and he had found a role coaching Ultimate and mentoring at work. He was known for his razor-sharp wit, practical joking and goofy sense of humour and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and colleagues. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, Reverend John Lacey officiating. No visitation by request. Interment in St. Martin of Tours and St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cumberland, PE. Memorial donations may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
