James J. Flanagan HAMILTON - James J. Flanagan, 95, of Hamilton passed away peacefully Monday at RWJUH at Hamilton, with his family at his side. He was born in Mt. Vernon, NY, and was a resident of Hamilton for 59 years. Mr. Flanagan was a pipefitter with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 9 in Trenton. Son of the late James M. and Marguerite C. Donovan Flanagan and father of the late Peggy Ann Flanagan, he is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Millicent E. (Mullagh) Flanagan; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathleen M. and Lawrence A. Frank of Plumstead Township, NJ, and Eileen E. Flanagan of Hamilton. Friends may gather at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton (visit www.murphyfh.com) on Friday at 10 a.m., followed by graveside services at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton. There will be no calling hours on Thursday.
