James H. Wilson WELLFORD, SC-- Mr. James H. (Bubby) Wilson, 60, died Monday, April 4, 2011, following a brief illness. He was the son of the late Ruth C. and Willie B. Wilson, Jr. He was a graduate of Carver High School, Class of 1968, and a graduate of Albany State College. He was a longtime employee of Hersey Measurement. He was also employed with Dave Edwards Toyota and Rent-A-Center. He is survived by one daughter, Jada Wilson; former wife, Johnita Wilson; four sisters, Beatrice Hill of Spartanburg, SC, Barbara Shores of New Castle, DE, Bernadine Wilson of Spartanburg, SC, and Jacqualine Wilkins of Wellford, SC; paternal aunts, Ruth Beatty and Lillie B. Wilson of Spartanburg, SC; maternal aunt, Laura Wilson; wife, Delores Hames Wilson of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 8, 2011, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 503 South Converse Street and 123 Wilkie Drive, Wellford. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Community Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Mortuary on behalf of James H. Wilson.
