James "Doug" Goodwin MOORE, SC-- James Douglas "Doug" Goodwin, 70, of 204 Smith Road, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013. He was the husband of Faye Ann Pearson Goodwin of the home and the son of the late James H. Goodwin and Lillie Mae Norton Goodwin. He was a truck driver for many years with Kenan Advantage Group and Flowers Bakery. Survivors also include two sons, Jeffery Scott Goodwin and wife Patricia of Moore and James Randall Goodwin and wife Sherry Spartanburg; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn McKinney and Pamela Goodwin both of Gaffney; a brother, Ronald Goodwin of Rockingham, NC; three sisters, Sylvia Groomes, Peggy Smith both of Rockingham, NC and Roselyn Peters; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by three brothers, Cecil, David and RB Goodwin; and two sisters, Faye Knight and Lucille McKeel. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 3rd at the Reidville First Baptist Church with Rev. Dean Patton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, September 2nd at Stribling Funeral Home. The interment will be at the River Hills Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.
