James F. Casey, 55, of Alpine died Dec. 26, 2011, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.He is survived by his wife, Debra Casey of Alpine; daughter, Delana Casey of Alpine; stepson, Kalan Matthews of Alpine; aunt, Jo Ann Culverson of Columbus, GA; cousin, Perry Culverson of Orlando, FL' cousin, Jeff Culverson of Columbus, GA; and friends, Van and Nancy Gowens of Gadsden, Al.He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Casey; and his sister, Wanda Sirmons.He will be cremated and services will be announced by the family at a later date.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the service.
