WILLIAMS, James Edward, 58, a resident of Prattville, AL, died peacefully at home on Friday, October 10, 2003. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2003 at 3:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial with Dr. Rex Kent and Reverend Dale Barnes of-ficiating. Burial will follow in Prat-tville Memory Gardens, with Prat-tville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Williams honorably served his country as a Veteran of the United States Air Force and later retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center after 22 years of service. He is survived by his be-loved wife, Edith G. Williams, Prat-tville, AL; one son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Tara Williams, To-ney, AL; one daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Lance Smith, Prat-tvile, AL; three grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Erica Williams and Blake Wil-liams; his mother, Grace E. Williams, Prattville, AL; one brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Thomas and Patty Wil-liams, Holly Pond, AL and his mo-ther-in-law, Julia Goodson, Prat-tville, AL. Special appreciation is ex-tended to Dr. Harry Barnes, Dr. Da-vid Morrison, Dr. Lucious Freeman, Karen Barthel and other dedicated caregivers. Serving as active pal-lbearers will be Marlin Seymore, Terrell Colee, Michael McCord, Tony McCord, Nelson McClain and Ronnie Moore.
