<!-- FH = Blakely Funeral Home --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Jim WilliamsClintonJames "Jim" Edward Williams, 86, formerly of 479 Springdale Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Presbyterian Home in Clinton.Born in Spartanburg, he was the husband of Era Burgess Williams for 65 years and was the son of the late John and Ada Cowart Williams. Mr. Williams was a self-employed accountant and bookkeeper, formerly worked for American Security, and retired from the Whitten Center. He was a Mason and Shriner, was an avid fisherman, loved cars, and loved animals, especially his dog "Lucky". He was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of Mountain View Baptist Church on Parris Bridge Road in Spartanburg.Surviving in addition to his wife are three brothers, Lewis Williams and Johnny Williams, both of Chattanooga, TN, and Jerry Williams of Mayo; and three sisters, Mavis Williams of Chattanooga, TN, Gladys Poole and Janice Walker, both of Spartanburg. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Williams.The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 AM on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services, with military honors, will follow at 11:00 AM at Frederick Memorial Gardens.Memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Hospice, P.O.
