James Edward Williams, 59, died on Oct. 19, 2010, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Fort Pierce. He was born in Quincy and lived in Fort Pierce for 57 years, coming from Quincy. He was employed as a construction laborer. He was a member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, were he served on the church usher board. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Williams of Fort Pierce; son, Henry White of Tampa; daughters, Precious Lee of Port St Lucie and Lana Jones of Fort Pierce; sister, Margaretta Williams of Stuart; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Williams Sr.; mother; Mary Alice McKinley; and brother, Jessie Williams Jr. Services: Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 24 and 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 25 at Sarah's Memorial Chapel.
