LEMIEUX, JAMES EDWARD, 69Dunnellon - James Edward LeMieux (Jim), 69, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 31, 2008 in Ocala, Florida. He lived a life wrapped in the love of God, which he illustrated daily in his love for his family. He would have us remember to know Jesus, live, walk, trust and rest in Him. It was not his words that said to be like Jesus, it was his actions. His family cherishes the memories of his faithful love for all, which was rooted in Jesus faithful love for him. When you looked in his eyes you saw an honest, genuine, unconditional loving man who adored his family and whose family adored him. He changed the lives of a woman and six children who would have wound up only God knows where without him. Born on April 2nd, 1939, he grew up in Roslyn Heights, New York. He was voted most handsome and likely to succeed in his High School class. From there, he joined the United States Navy from which he retired. Survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Patricia (Pat) of Dunnellon; his sons, John Raynor, Roger Raynor, Patrick LeMieux and wife, Patty; Cathy Prevesk (LeMieux), Georgette LeMieux and partner, Lori; Mary Durette (LeMieux) and husband, Trevor; and his 19 grandchildren; The Raynors: Regina, Christopher, Patricia, Colby, Nikki, Shelly, Tommy; The LeMieux's: Tabitha, Joshua; The Prevesk's: Jessica and husband, John, Steven, Morgan, Tyler, Joseph; The LeMieux's: Michael, Matthew, The Durrett's: Heather, Ashli and Tiffany; his 7 great grand children; The Raynors: Zachery, Nathanial, Briana, Little Rock, Shiane; The Prevesk's: Savannah and Lil John.
