STRICKLAND, James E. 86, of New Port Richey, died Nov. 7, 2009. He was born in New York City, NY, and was a postal employee. James served with the U.S. Army in Manilla during WWII, and was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Hudson and of the VFW Post 6180. He was an avid golfer, was an outdoorsman and loved sports. He is survived by his wife, Betty; daughters, Linda, Karen and Janice; stepson, Don; brother, Robert; sister, Josephine; several grandchildren and several great-grand-children.
