James E. Horne, 79, of 1301 Ninety Six Highway, died Feb. 17, 2001. He was a son of the late Preston and Mattie Bell Smith Horne. Retired: Greenwood Mills, Plant No. 5. Survivors: wife, Ema Jean Able Horne; son, Dennis Horne of Greenwood; sisters, Jewel Deloach and Madge Dorn of Greenwood, Lucille Deloach of Saluda and Ailene Powell of Johnston; brother, Rudy Horne of Greenwood; and five grandchildren.
