GRAY James D., of Oradell died on July 17, 2008 at home. He was 65.Visiting will be at the Wilfred Armitage & Wiggins Funeral Home, 596 Belgrove Drive, Kearny on Thursday from 6-9 PM. A service will be at 8:30 PM. Private cremation.Born in Kearny he lived there and North Arlington before moving to Oradell 35 years ago.Mr. Gray worked as a journalist for Medical Economics in Montvale for 25 years, retiring in 2003.He graduated from St. Peter's College with a BA degree in English, and a Masters degree in History from Montclair State. An avid Yankee and Giants fan, he was also a volunteer for 4 years at the Senior PGA Tournament at the Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton. Mr. Gray served in the Marine Reserves for 6 years from 1960 to 1966.Dear son of the late Duncan and Elizabeth (nee Radigan) Gray, beloved brother of Robert and William Gray and their spouses Carol and Cynthia, loving and generous uncle to three nephews, two nieces and two great-nephews.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
