ANGUS James D. Angus, age 71, of Monroe, died on Friday, December 1, 2006 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Brookline, Mass. on October 28, 1935, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Peggy MacLean Angus and was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Angus was a retired director of accounting for the Compass Group, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus at St Jude Church. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John Angus. Survivors include his beloved wife, Susan Grant Angus; two loving children, a son, Derek Angus and his wife, Megan, of Stratford and a daughter, Heather McTiernan and her husband, Bruce, of Stratford; mother-in-law, Lorraine Grant of Medford, Mass.; two step-grandchildren, Colin and Kyle McTiernan; several nieces and nephews; and two granddogs, Riley and Jameson. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will take place on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 1 p.m. in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA.
