James "Sonny" Cotter, 85, of Eastview, Ky., formerly of Stoughton, Mass., passed away March 30, 2014. Born July 27, 1928, Sonny grew up and spent most of his adult life in Stoughton, Mass., before moving to Kentucky in his later years. He attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Stoughton during his time there. Sonny was a proud Army veteran, serving as a Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the American Legion and AmVets. Sonny was an avid golfer and maintained his pilot's license. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Lynn Voris (Brian); son, Jeffrey Michael Cotter; two grandchildren, Jes Lynne Berman and James Webster Berman; one great-grandchild, Annabelle Rose Berman; and two nieces, Kathy Hall (Art) and Mary LaPorte (Felix).
