PALM COAST - James W. Colburn, 60, of Banton Lane, who retired as a design engineer in 2003, died Friday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.A native of Miami, Mr. Colburn moved here from Fort Lauderdale in 1997. He attended the University of Miami and was a member of Central Church of Christ, Bunnell. Mr. Colburn enjoyed photography, kayaking and anything that had to do with aerospace. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Jewel; two daughters, Melanie Warren, Palm Coast, and Kisha Rose, St. Augustine; a sister, Mary Hoskins, Miami; and three grandchildren.
