GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mr. James E. Carter of Grovetown, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013. He was a God fearing, loving, protective family man. James cherished his family and times shared together. He enjoyed fishing, working in his shop and collecting clocks. Mr. Carter is survived by his loving wife, Anna Kate Carter; six children, Dianne (Dennis) Lowman, Harold (Susan) Carter, Allen Carter, Jeannie (James) Whitaker, Joey (Susan) Carter and Sandra (Demian) Orozco; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held 7 PM, Sunday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Brother David Holton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5589 Wrightsboro Rd., Grovetown, GA 30813 in James' memory.
