AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. James Carter, 59, formerly of Lavonia, died Friday, April 13, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Strickland Funeral Home - Lavonia Chapel has charge of arrangements.
