Obituary of James Carter


CARTER, James Thompson 68 years. Passed away suddenly at home on February 10, 2004. Survived by his wife Mae (Storie). James will be sadly missed by his daughter Diane (Kevin), son Dan (Gail), daughter Donna (Robert), son David (Bonnie), and their mother MaryAnn V. Carter (nee Lonnee), 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild and cousins Karen and Rick Schofield. He will be remembered by 4 step-children and their families. Predeceased by his parents John and Nellie Carter, his sister Judy Carter, Aunt Ruth M. Carter, Uncle Raymond Carter, Uncle David Carter, Aunt Rita Carter and Ma Carter. James was a Locomotive Engineer with CNR for 40 years before retiring. He was a member of the R.C.L. Branch #143, Windsor Sportsmen's Club and the Players Club. Resting at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (254-3223) on Friday from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. from the Anderson Memorial Chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial tributes to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
