COWLEY, James James Cowley, born in Windsor Ontario on March 5th 1926, died January 16th 2012. Jim lived for more than 50 years in the Victoria area and especially liked his home on Pat Bay. He particularly enjoyed fishing and liked to tell about the 46 lb salmon he caught in Cowichan Bay. Jim built and flew model airplanes throughout his life, from the time he was a young boy. He is survived by his loving wife Mary, daughters Mary Jane and Elizabeth, and son David. He had 5 grandsons. Jim was predeceased by his two brothers, Bill and Jack. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Great appreciation and thanks are given the Palliative Care Unit of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital with its terrific staff and volunteers.
