-> James Bobby Jones Carter, 64, died Sunday, June 22, 2003, at home. He was a native of Bulloch County, GA, and lived in Savannah many years. He was a member of St. Phillips Monumental A.M.E. Church. He was a retired Longshoreman and a member of the Local 1414. He attended Public Schools of Chatham County and was a graduate of Tompkins High School. Survivors: Wife, Carolyn Worriels Carter of Savannah; daughter, Sanika Carter Wright of Savannah; sons, Kenneth Jones of Savannah, GA, Amid Jamal Carter of Richmond, VA; sister, Sonja Jones of Columbia, SC; brothers, Brantley Jones, Jr. (Josie) of Savannah, Ronnie Jones of Savannah; two grandchildren, Rashid Jones of Atlanta and Kennedy Wright of Savannah; nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins, including Louise Loadholt and other relatives.
