James B. Coughlin, 79, of Bradenton, passed away April 29th, 2014 at Blake Medical Center. He was born in Newark, New Jersey and came to this area ten years ago from Belford, New Jersey. Mr. Coughlin was a data processing consultant for Hackensack Medical Center, graduated from Rutgers University, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maureen Samson. He is survived by his wife Marcella of Bradenton, son, Christopher of Middletown, NJ, daughter, Katherine Coughlin of Middletown, NJ, sister, Rose Caprio of NJ, and three grandchildren. Inurnment with military honors will be held on Thursday, May 15th, 2014, 11:15 am at Sarasota National Cemetery. www.GriffithCline.com
