COLLETT, James Albert- It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of James 'Jim“ Collett at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake on June 9th, 2008 at the age of 85. Pre-deceased by his wife Mary Magdalen in 2003, he is also survived by his 3 sons, Roger James Collette (Linda) of Elliot Lake, Malcolm Brindley Collette (Yvonne Jackson) of Vancouver, B.C. and Alwyn William Collette (Penny) of Elliot Lake. Dear grandfather of Lindsay Morgan, Cameron Jackson, Kathryn Sarah and Natasha Christen. Loving companion of Sadie Latulippe of Elliot Lake. Dear brother of the late Daisy Turner of England and lovingly regarded as uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. James was with the Royal Navy during WWII and moved to Elliot Lake in 1957. As well as working for Denison Mines, one of his most rewarding achievements was initiating and being on the Municipal Swimming Pool Committee in Elliot Lake. He loved his community and instilled a strong sense of commitment in his family and those around him. Friends may call at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Avenue, 848-9250) Friday evening from 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 14, at 11:00 am from St. Peter The Apostle Anglican Church with the Reverend Henk Willems officiating. Interment to follow in Woodlands Cemetery, Elliot Lake. Memorial contributions to the St.Joseph's Hospital Fund would be appreciated by the family. 11122396
