MONTGOMERY, JAMES "JIM" A., 41, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. Jim was the founder and owner of PUSH design. He graduated from St. Xavier in 1989 and from the University of Dayton's VCD program in 1993. Jim was involved with St. Patrick CAM, Holy Family Marketing Committee, was on the GuardiaCare Board of Directors, Louisville Technical Institute, the March of Dimes, the University of Dayton Alumni Association and the University of Louisville's Hockey Club. He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Montgomery III; and grandparents, Dorothy and Tony Allgeier. Survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Jennifer (Wallace) Montgomery; son, Jackson Montgomery; parents, Rosemarie and Carmine Allocco; sister, Heather Blazis (Joseph); stepsister, Vicki Reichel (Mark); stepbrothers, Richard, Chris and Stephen Allocco; nieces, Caleigh and Emma Blazis; nephews, Chris Reichel and Jeffrey Allocco; as well as many loving and supportive extended family members and friends. A memorial Mass will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1000 N. Beckley Station Road, with private interment to follow at a later date. After Mass, all are welcome to a celebration of Jim's life that will be held in the ballroom at Embassy Suites, 9940 Corporate Campus Dr. Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home is caring for arrangements.
