JAMES A. GUNTER, 53 U.S. Army Master Sergeant LAKELAND - James A. Gunter, 53, of Lakeland died January 3, 2007 from cancer. James was born in Elizabethtown, NC and came here in 1992 from Fort Bragg, NC. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the US Army and a member of Christina Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Andrea Gunter of Lakeland; sons, Gregory Allen Gunter and his wife Tiffany of Cumming, GA, Jeffrey James Gunter and his wife Amie, and Michael Brandon Gunter both of Lakeland; sister, Deane Gunter of Moncure, NC and 2 grandchildren, Madison Payge Gunter and Amber Lily Gunter. Friends will be received at Lakeland Funeral Home on Sunday, January 7, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
