FELLOWS--James A. A public broadcasting pioneer, James A. Fellows, 77, died January 6. His career spanned 47 years. He led the National Association of Educational Broadcasters in Washington, DC, when it championed the transformation of educational TV and radio into today's national public broadcasting system (1961 - 1981). The Corporation for Public Broadcasting honored him for outstanding contributions to the field. He led the Central Educational Network in Des Plaines, IL (1983 - 2003).
